LOGIC PRO X - Orchestral Development : Orchestral Programming Part 2
In the second part of our journey into Orchestral Sample programming, we’re going to take the Violin 1 part created in Episode 1 and develop it into a fuller string arrangement. 👉BUY the Full Orchestral Sample Programming Bundle https://learn.jonobuchananmusic.com/p/orchestral-programming-compete?utm_source=JB_YouTube&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=yt_channel&utm_content=yt_bundle This will allow us to bring a number of different strands from the channel together, most notably, the value of having some Music Theory knowledge at your fingertips. We’ll start by harmonising the Violin 1 part with a supporting Cello line, learning in the process how to duplicate the MIDI Controller data from Violin 1 to use on the Cello line (and whether that helps or hinders us). Then we’ll look at writing more dynamic parts for the middle Violin 2 and Viola parts, learning how to use MIDI Delay to manage timing between long and short articulations. Along the way, we’ll learn some useful Key Commands and discover that Double Basses can bring about the end of civilisation. Shall we?
