I want to target the Filter (Tone) section of Logic’s synths with a Random Square Wave Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO). This will force the Filter Cutoff to open and close in unpredictable ways, bringing ever-changing movement to the Tone of a sound. I’ll explain LFOs in depth in Retro Synth before moving into the ES2 to introduce the effect I’ve got in mind.
