This engine sat on the shelf for 17 years! Im not sure if it was a running engine when the truck was dismantled but it surely isn't now! This one was a real struggle and I didn't feel great about the end result. Sometimes its like that! You never know what these "Core" engines are going to be like until they are on the stand. Why am I doing this? My name is Eric and I own and run a full service auto salvage business called Importapart. Part of our model includes dismantling blown and bad engines to salvage the good parts to resell. We do not rebuild engines, merely supply parts to those who do.
