Living with the Aprilia Tuareg 660

The Aprilia Tuareg 660, a new mid-size adventure bike from the Italian manufacturer, hugely impressed when we flew out to Sardinia to test it during the motorbike's international press launch in 2022. But while it proved a winner on the snaking roads and trails of the sun-soaked is island, we were left curious as to how the Aprilia Tuareg would perform back home in the UK. After all, testing a new adventure bike on some of the world's best coastal roads overlooking the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea is a very different experience to riding your daily commute or shooting off for a weekend of mountain roads and green lanes in Wales. With this in mind, Adventure Bike Rider welcomed a Tuareg 660 to our long-term review bike fleet last year and James spent six months riding the motorcycle to find out what it was like to live with. How did it perform on the daily commute? What was it like on long motorway journeys? Was it fun to throw around the twisties of a weekend? And how did it get on along the UK's nadgery green lanes.
