Don’t forget to like, comment, and share if you love this dish! 📌 Ingredients & Full Recipe Below ⬇️ Ingredients Shish Barak (Lamb Dumplings in Yogurt Sauce) For the Dough: • 2 cups all-purpose flour • ½ cup water (adjust as needed) • 1 tsp salt For the Filling: • 250g ground lamb • 1 small onion, finely chopped • ½ tsp black pepper • ½ tsp salt • 1tbs ghee For the Yogurt Sauce: • 3 cups plain yogurt • 4 garlic cloves, minced • 1 tbsp dried mint • 1 tbsp ghee (or butter) • ½ cup water (to thin sauce) • Salt to taste Mjadra (Lentil & Rice Dish) • 1 cup brown or green lentils, rinsed • 1 cup short grain rice • 2 large onion, thinly sliced • 3 tbsp ghee (or olive oil) • ½ tsp salt • 3 cups water Side Garnish: • Lebanese pickles Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions Step 1: Make the Dough 1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and olive oil. 2. Slowly add water, kneading until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Step 2: Prepare the Filling 3. Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté onions and garlic until soft. 4. Add ground lamb, spices, and salt. Cook until browned and fragrant. Set aside to cool. Step 3: Shape the Dumplings 5. Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small circles. 6. Place a small amount of filling in each circle, fold, and pinch to seal like tortellini. Step 4: Cook the Yogurt Sauce 7.
