The sentiment is more popular among Generation X than the older Baby Boomer generation. Have you heard of “Cozy Cardio?” It is a new kind of exercise that is becoming popular in the U.S. John Russell explains that it is an easy and painless way to increase physical activity levels. This method of calorie burning has gained popularity on TikTok and Instagram ever since a woman named Hope Zuckerbrow began posting videos in late 2022. Next, Greg Stachel presents the Technology Report. Greg reports that Apple is releasing a new computing device called the Vision Pro headset. The device uses augmented reality technology which has been available for years. But Apple calls the technology “spatial computing.” The device is worn on the head over the eyes. Apple hopes the Vision Pro will be as popular as the iPhone, Apple’s cellphone that came out in 2007. Ashley then joins Greg to discuss the difference between augmented reality and virtual reality. Ashley also promotes the children’s program Let’s Learn English with Anna. For the Lesson of the Day, Jill Robbins and Andrew Smith talk about a polite way to ask for something. In this case, they explain how to use “would,” “could,” “would you mind” or “I’m wondering” to politely ask someone to stop certain distracting behavior.
