Learn Basic Mechanical Ventilation PART TWO. Perfect for Nurses and Trainees!
For NICU Awareness Month, we continue our series by helping nurses and trainees learn basic mechanical ventilation, part TWO. This is a two part lecture. In THIS video, which is PART TWO, we focus on discussing volume vs. pressure as well as non-invasive ventilation, such as NIV, NIPPV, and CPAP. I will briefly describe high-frequency ventilation and then end the video with a step-by-step instruction on understanding blood gases. If you missed PART I, that video focuses on SIMV and AC modes. Learn about synchronized intermittent mechanical ventilation (SIMV) and assist control (AC), in easy to understand terms and examples.ENJOY! LIKEs are like little "tip jars" for me, so please, if you feel like thanking me, a LIKE will make me very happy. Thank you! We always love comments and questions on each video, so please feel free to leave a comment or constructive feedback at the bottom. If you have ideas for a video, please let me know below.
