Landscape Photography in One of the Most Regulated National Parks in the World
Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote is a beautiful place to visit, but it is heavily regulated making landscape photography almost impossible. There is no freedom to walk and explore and you can only see it by bus. I was lucky enough to be asked to attend Canarian Photo Week which had been granted permission to visit one viewpoint for sunset and sunrise. Of course, I would have liked more freedom and the opportunity to choose our spot for photography, but the national park is incredibly protective. It was an interesting experience, none the less. The Canarian Photo Week, however, was amazing and photographing the rest of the island was incredible. 10% off your first Squarespace website or domain: https://www.squarespace.com/heaton
