Landscape Photography | Do Great Compositions Always Make Great Photographs?

Having been on Harris for a good ten days and having accomplished decent images from my three chosen locations locally (See my Harris back catalogue), I felt it was time to move on and try a new location. The location I wanted to see and more importantly, photograph was the Mangersta Sea Stacks, which was a two hour drive from my bothy. Now this to me normally is too far to travel for a dusk or dawn shoot because you can never predict the weather conditions in a place like Harris, regardless of a forecast.
