Lab 5: Deploying and Integrating Amazon RDS with a Web Application

This lab provides hands-on experience with deploying a high-availability MySQL database using Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) and integrating it with a web application. Participants will configure networking components such as security groups and DB subnet groups, launch a Multi-AZ RDS instance, and securely connect it to a pre-configured EC2-based web server. The objective is to demonstrate the use of AWS-managed relational database solutions in cloud-based application architectures. By completing the lab, learners will understand how to provision, configure, and interact with scalable, fault-tolerant cloud databases using AWS best practices.
