LA at Montreal Vin Scully Ross Porter 8-95
Even into the '90s, most major league ballclubs were still doing their radio and television with one team of broadcasters. As it was with most clubs, the Dodgers would have Vin Scully doing the first three and last three innings on TV. Then he'd switch over to radio for the middle three as Ross Porter (also an excellent broadcaster) came over from the radio side to do three innings of TV. I wish it were still done that way today, but then I wish Vin Scully were on the air tonight starting in on a 68th season. By the way, there's even a Scully-hosted postgame show here, with Porter interviewing Raul Mondesi (or as we'd call him today, Raul Mondesi Senior)...
