Kris Tompkins is a prominent conservationist and former CEO of Patagonia, known for shaping the company's innovative, anti-corporate model. She co-founded Tompkins Conservation with her late husband Doug Tompkins, protecting over 14 million acres across Chile and Argentina and establishing 17 national parks. She received the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy and was named the UN’s Global Patron for Protected Areas in 2018. Currently, she serves as President of Tompkins Conservation and the Board of Rewilding Chile.
