Knife Making | Karambit - The Bad Idea - Making a Flame Painted Karambit Knife
Handmade Karambit Knife cut from mild steel. Flame Painted for distinctive color. Step by step knife making process. I made this Karambit for my son. Since the edges would remain blunt, I used mild steel so that I could flame paint it without ruining any heat treatment. I also detail the stencil making process. I used PCB Photosensitive Dry Film to create the logo stencil. I would not recommend this process for small, detailed logos like mine. The film is very fragile and usually takes many tries to complete successfully. I am looking into improved methods for future builds.
