The River Nidd Gorge carves its way through the town and beautiful historic buildings some 900 years old, teeter over the edge looking down at the river. It has more than just the historical aspects of a Castle and the iconic Knaresborough Viaduct, but riverside walks along the famous former Royal Forest of Knaresborough.
