Key Figure Drawing Fundamentals

Focus on Gesture & Form: Studying figure drawing from Charles Bargue's drawing course book. Topics: Gesture lines, Mother Forms, Proportions, Balance, CSl and Line work. I'm using the figures in Part 3 of the drawing book to practice basic figure drawing. This type of exercise is great for preparing for drawing from live models in a studio or art school. Each of his figures have a singular rhythm. This gesture then connects the anatomical landmarks and forms to a flow which is felt within the drawing. His drawings are beautiful and very helpful for learning figure drawing.
