Kazan: russian city where new trams on new tracks don't go faster than 40 km/h!

Until 2021, trams often caught fire in Kazan, but new management of the tram depot came here and the fires stopped. I think it's great! But seriously, the Kazan tram is a disgrace. During the 2010s, they built and reconstructed the Big Tram Ring here, but due to the lack (or poor quality) of ongoing repairs, trams barely accelerate to 40 km/h. It's good that at least the trolleybuses and buses in Kazan are fairly new. And Kazan is the only city that was able to build a metro after the collapse of the USSR.
