Juxtaposing Stillness and Motion with the Chroma Console

When I'm creating ambient music, I am often thinking about how I can juxtapose stillness with movement. One way I often approach this is combining something static (or at least moving very slowly) within the composition with motion occurring timbrally . The Chroma Console from Hologram is a stereo multi-FX pedal which has a number of features which naturally lend themselves to applying that movement to an otherwise still sound source. Transparency notice: Hologram kindly sent the Chroma Console over to me for the purposes of making content about/with it. I haven't otherwise been paid, but I do get to keep the unit seen in this demo.
