Jaw-dropping vintage dresser transformation! 😲 #furnitureflip #furniturerestoration

This was a gorgeous vintage dresser to flip! My initial plan was to paint it blue and gild it, but when I found out it was a John Widdicomb, I pivoted and decided to do a full refinish. I removed the finish, sanded through the grits and applied a dye stain. I started with light brown and then added a coat of medium brown to deepen the color. I did a pinstripe of gold around the drawers and then sealed the whole thing with a hard wax oil. Isn’t it lovely?!
