JAF Cows - Stubborn & Dangerous - Teimosas e Perigosas - Ilha Terceira - Açores

Trabalho de campo na Ganadaria JAF efectuado a 10 de Dezembro de 2022. Foram recolhidas aos currais as vacas que estavam pastando no pico, a fim de serem desparasitadas e vacinadas, pois com o inverno rigoroso, a condição física delas já não se encontrava em boas condições. As chuvas são intensas e levam a que os animais estejam muito tempo na humidade e nevoeiro. São trabalhos complicados, porque andam fugidas no pico e por vezes a dificuldade para as trazer até aos currais é enorme, porque tendem a dispersar-se umas das outras. Os homens tem de ter muito cuidado, porque são agressivas e teimosas. Por vezes há que fazer diversas tentativas a fim de as reunir, tal como aconteceu neste dia, e tiveram de entrar por outro local que não era o habitual.
