Is this REALLY Italy? It feels so much more like Austria, with the architecture, language and the food and drinks. In this episode we are exploring the province of Trentino-Alto Adige, also known as the South Tyrol. This area was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until the end of WW1. We visit a beautiful Alpine village where there's a great local festival going on, and then we go on a pilgrimage to a medieval monastery.
