Is the SiOnyx Opsin worth buying yet?

The SiOnyx Opsin DNVM1 digital night vision monocular is a significant improvement over the Aurora, but does it compete with real analog night vision? To find out, I bought one with my own money and ran it through an 8 stage night vision match with @ForgottenWeapons to see how big of a handicap it was.
