Is Lan Ha Bay in Vietnam a perfect - or even better - alternative than Ha Long Bay? We went on a bucket list luxury cruise to experience one of the truly most jaw-droppingly beautiful places in the world. Everything we do is on a tight budget - but this is one thing we treated ourselves to. It cost $175 each, including our minibus transfer from Hanoi to the terminal. We booked onto the Rosy Cruise, sailed around the bay, went kayaking, visited the famous bright cave and gazed in awe at the UNESCO World Heritage Site landscape.
