Is The ‘ALIEN POWER MATRIX’ WORTH IT in Satisfactory 1.0? In summary, the Alien Power Augmenter is worth it. Despite consuming 10 Somersloops, I honestly believe it does its job rather well, especially since it doesn’t consume any raw resources (Biomass, Coal, Crude Oil etc). The Geothermal Generator also achieve a similar result, but you need to place more of them and their power fluctuates. However, I do NOT believe the Alien Power Matrix is worth it unless you are producing a lot of power already. You can only unlock the APM in phase 5 of the game whereas you can unlock the APA far earlier on.
