In this video, I review eSun PET filament—a material that offers good mechanical strength and dimensional stability, but can be more difficult to print than PETG. So far I’ve tested many PETG and PET-CF filaments, and I was curious what we can expect from raw PET filament without any additives or fiber reinforcement.

I go through everything from the basic specs and unboxing to print settings, temperature tests, and real-world object trials. As always, I run a full series of mechanical tests including tensile, layer adhesion, shear, twist, impact, bending, creep, and temperature resistance.
You’ll also see how the filament behaves during annealing, whether it prints well without an enclosure, and how much it shrinks after printing. Plus, I test a printed bottle to check for watertightness and functional performance.
