Into The Light 001 - Amsterdam with Nicky Elisabeth

Today marks the beginning of my new streaming series, Into The Light—where I'll be playing sets from people’s living rooms and other unique spaces around the world. Lately, I’ve felt a bit disconnected from the scene around me, and I knew something had to shift. That’s when I decided to strip things back and return to the core—playing music in more intimate spaces, purely for the love of it. Without the pressure to perform or entertain, I feel a new sense of artistic freedom. It also allows me to connect on a deeper level with people who experience music the way I do. When everything gets so big, fast, and overwhelming, something essential gets lost. I missed the depth of real, meaningful connections—those moments that move me far more than anything superficial ever could. The first episode takes place in my living room in Amsterdam, a space that means a lot to me. It’s where I feel most creatively free—where I write, play piano, and spend time with the people I love.
