Installing a New Linguistic Operating System for your Mind | Stuart Jay Raj | TEDxChiangMai
We have some of the most amazing hardware and software built into us to learn languages. We were born to learn languages, but later we do things that make learning language more difficult. We change our “software”. Stuart proposes ways to implement a “new operating system” as a way to learn new languages more effectively and effortlessly. His research and experience suggest that the best way to learn new languages is to have a good understanding of how the body produces language and then tap into that by being receptive and letting our environment teach language as it used by the owners of that language. His talk is in English.
