Inside Vilnius & Kaunas, Lithuania
Our trip to Lithuania’s capital of Vilnius was highlighted by vibrant pink soup, the arty independent republic of Uzupis, a quick climb up to the historical Gediminas Tower, and an informative chat with local Justina.
Lithuania is the largest country in the Baltics and it was the last in Europe to be Christianized—just a few fun facts we learned on a free walking tour of Vilnius’ old town. Join us as we see the main Vilnius sites (and some random ones, too, like a Guinness Record-holding coin pyramid) and then hop in a rental car to check out Lithuania’s second largest city, Kaunas, home to the country’s oldest (and certainly most charming) castle.
Also, don’t forget to watch our other Baltic videos in Tallinn, Estonia, and Riga, Latvia!
