Inflatable Pool Shelter Overnight In The Forest
Join me on today's adventure as I build a shelter out of inflatable pools in the middle of a beautiful forest and spend a summer night inside :D Help Support me https://www.patreon.com/Quiet_Nerd Quiet Nerd Playmat : https://www.yourplaymat.com/products/quiet-nerd-playmat Quiet Nerd Card Sleeves : https://www.yourplaymat.com/products/quiet-nerd-card-sleeves Unique Link/URL: https://www.yourplaymat.com/discount/QUIETNERD10YP?aff=112 Unique Code: QUIETNERD10YP The day started off by dragging out 5 large intex family swim center inflatable a pools on a jet sled into the middle of the forest. The forest and path to reach it was super overgrown this timer. I had to hike though very tall and thick grass and had to pull hard on the sled to get over it all. After cutting a fallen tree in the way of the entrance of the forest I dragged the sled of pools all the way to the spot. Such a pretty view with all the green I love it! I took out my handy blue tarp to set up the floor and then unload all the pools. I then took the sled back to grab the rest of my gear. A little hike later and I was back at the spot and this time with all my gear! I was ready to start the build. I grabbed my battery powered air pump unpacked my pools and began to inflate them. And they were HUGE lol. Way bigger than I though they would be in person. After I inflated all the pools It was time to place the walls and roof together. I wanted to have the floor, roof, back, and two side walls made of the pools leaving the front open and I had a nice idea for the front door. I now needed a way to stick the pools together so it was off to find the legendary tape tree of the forest. With a few shakes the fruit of the tape tree fell leaving me some wonderful options to stick the shelter together. I ended up using this tape Ive really never used much before it was called alien tape. Its a reusable double sided tape after googling a bit it says it is suppose to made of carbon nano tubes pretty space age stuff. After awkwardly move all the pools around I began to stick them together with the tape. It honestly worked wonders on the shelter. I never even worried about it falling apart I was super happy with it. For the front door situation I ended up using a stick and a shower curtain It was crude but it looked and worked beautifully I was so pleased with it. With the shelter up it was time to set up camp. I Inflated a air mattress sleeping pad and then an inflatable pillow to match the inflatable theme. I also set up a bug net cocoon thing I could sleep inside and not become a feast for the mosquitoes. With camp all set up It was time to check out the big pond. A hike through a beautiful lush green forest and we arrived at the pond. A few frogs hopped away upon the arrival. Luckily they still let me film them. The forest was alive with bird, bugs, frogs, and so much more it was such a beautiful day. Once I returned back to camp it was time for dinner I was hungry! For the food situation I brought two MRE to eat. For dinner I had the vegetable crumbles pasta in taco style sauce. It was tasty. I think that MRE are so fun with all the things they come with and they taste pretty good as well ( well the ones Ive had so far ). I would say they are pretty much perfect for an outdoor adventure if you don't want to bring any cooking material an such. After diner it was time to relax and enjoy the scenery and sounds. I must say the forest was so full of bugs today and they were wonderful to film. They are so alien to us I love it. It was now time to set up a IR security camera / game camera with a pile of food out in front to hopefully catch some wildlife at night. I walked back to the big pond and set it out eagerly ready to see what the camera caught. After setting up the camera it was night time. I returned back to camp and I enjoyed a snack from my leftover MRE! Night was here and it was time to step out and go on a night walk. I found my bay back to the big pond even though it was hard to find it in the thick vegetation and the cover of night. But I got to spend some time withe the bugs and frogs of the pond and got some beautiful shots of them on camera. It was now time to return to camp and catch some sleep zzzzz. In the morning I awoke to the sound of turkeys in the distance. After getting up and ready to step out I grabbed my other MRE for breakfast a tuna chunk light lemon pepper MRE. It was tuna tacos for breakfast. Not my normal breakfast but tasty nonetheless. After breakfast it was time to collect the security camera pack up and head home. I was happy to see the camera caught some lovely night life of a mouse, bugs, and raccoons :D. After taking down the shelter and packing it up it was time to drag the sled back though the thick green forest. It was such a beautiful adventure and a lovely shelter super comfy and fun :D It was great. I hope you enjoyed! Keep on keeping on Much Love Email me at [email protected]
