Starting in Oytal Valley, the steep and exposed Gleitweg trail towards Seealpsee will be your host. The location is a valley near Oberstdorf, region Upper Allgäu, at the northern edge of the alps in germany. For reference: With an incline setting of 12% and a belt speed of 3mph (= 4,8 km/h) a 700m elevation gain takes 1hr13minutes. This is an equivalent to 9,6meters/31,5ft per minute, or 288m/945ft per 30 minutes. With an incline setting of 15% and a belt speed of 5km/h = 3.1mph you'll achieve 700m elevation gain at the same time as the altimeter in the video. This is an equivalent to 12meters/39ft per minute.
