In my HOMEMADE FLOATING BLIND, PHOTOGRAPHING WATERFOWL and other BIRDS. How I made my blind.
Photographing birds and other wildlife from a blind is very rewarding. I spent some time this week using my ghillie net as well as my homemade, floating photography blind (hide) to photograph some waterfowl and other shorebirds. It felt so good to get back out in the blind and be so close to these beautiful birds without them even knowing I was there. I was able to photograph some Ibises, Egrets a Grebe and some Avocets! Except for the Egrets, these were all new species for me that I'd never really spent time with or photographed.
In this video I also explain how I made my homemade floating blind. I've had a lot of questions regarding this, so I hope this explanation helps. Using this blind has allowed me to get so close to so many amazing species and get intimate photos that I wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. If you have any additional questions about how I made the blind, please let me know.
I had so much fun this week and it felt so good to be back in the blind. I hope you enjoy this video, I always appreciate the support. Have a wonderful week and we'll see you next Sunday!
