Impulse & Ft Graphs - IB Physics

Note: There's a mistake in Example 1. The impulse should be 15000Ns, not 5000Ns. I confused it with the force. Part 2 of the lecture series on momentum. Impulse is a change in momentum, and is also equal to the net force on an object multiplied by the time the force is applied. A force-time graph shows the force applied on the y-axis and the time on the x-axis. The area under the curve of a force-time graph is equal to the impulse on the object.
