Illustrator doesn't know how to do symmetry right but I do. I'll prove it.
After recently posting two videos on Instagram using my custom Illustrator symmetry technique that I developed years ago, I got some comments asking why I didn't use the baked-in Illustrator tool. And the reason I didn't is because its real bad. So I made this tutorial to show you how I do it. My technique uses the transform effect to live mirror the whatever you are working on.
