Illustrating with textures in Affinity Designer with Tiago Galo

Architect turned award-winning illustrator Tiago Galo uses his Lockdown 2020 session to show how he uses textures to achieve his inimitable style. Tiago will be available on YouTube’s Live Chat for this session’s premiere on Sunday, 24 May 2020 at 4pm BST. Tiago Galo is a Portuguese illustrator based in Lisbon. He started his work as an illustrator collaborating on small fanzines and exhibitions, before finishing his degree in architecture at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. After some years working as an architect, some soul-searching led him back to illustration, and since then he has worked with Google, Wired Magazine, Financial Times and Vogue Magazine, among others.
