IIT Prof's tips: Mistakes to avoid in going from Std 10 to 11
This video is specifically meant for those students who are going from Standard 10th to 11th. During this transition phase, many students make some common mistakes in the approach they take up in their studies. In this video, I discuss some of these mistakes and share tips on how to overcome them.
1. Do not be in denial regarding the difficulty level - it actually is difficult in 10+2
2. Manage your expectations depending on the level of problem solving aptitude you already have
3. Your preparation is your own - don't try to follow others
4. Don't buy any mentorship program
5. Topics of 10+2 subjects are sequential - don't get left behind
6. Topics are also interconnected; Learn calculus as early as you can
7. Set up a schedule to re-study topics (especially in Physics)
8. Choose one distraction and indulge in it a controlled fashion
