To raise awareness for Men's mental health and to challenge myself to even more weird fitness challenges, I walked 100,000 steps in 24 hours. On this journey, I set a step goal and donation goal that I had to do, or I would be a liar.
Determined to get the steps in, I had to wake up early and walk for the entire day. This challenbge was brutal. The constant, low level fatigue is horrendous and the idea of walking all the time and not being distracted by the luxuries of modern times was and is hard. It really made me think about myself and what I wanted to prove and be. So, how did it go? You will need to watch and find out.
Walking is significantly underrated. It is great for weight loss. It's a low impact form of cardio that people of all fitness levels can add into their routine. As you will see, walking burns A LOT of calories! But not enough to have a whole 10,000 calorie cheat day. I recommend everyone to invest into their mental health by walking a couple times a day and set a step/ activity goal.
