Hard Off Audio Salon has the biggest selection of vintage and used hifi gear in Japan that I know. I made the trip to the outlet in Kochijoji, around 40 mins from Tokyo. The other outlet is located at Niigata.

There's a huge selection of vinyl turntables, amplifiers, tape deck, speakers and accessories from brands like McIntosh, Klipsch, Sony, Sansui, Luxman, JBL, Altec, Fostex, Quad, Yamaha, KEF, TAD, Pathos, TEAC, Mark Levinson, Leak, Soul Note, Marantz, Pioneer, REGA, Kenwood, Technics, Mactone, Mission, Ortofon, Sonus Faber and much more.
Note that Japan domestic electronics are usually 100volts, you will need a step down transformer to use in other countries and I’ve featured in one of my videos where to find good made in Japan ones in Tokyo.
