I Tried a Strange "Inside" Cabin on The Worlds Last Ocean Liner
I’m currently on a cruise and I’m staying in the smallest cabin on the entire ship. It has a feature that I’ve never seen on a cruise ship before and although my cabin is inside, it’s definitely not what you imagine when you hear the words ‘inside cabin’. I’ve spent most of this week trying to work out why this cabin exists at all and if it was worth price that I paid for it. Booking a cabin without any outside space at all definitely was a gamble, because our cruise is spending 8 full days at sea and the weather has been far worse than I imagined. I knew that this ship was 20 years old so I hoped that nothing in the cabin would be broken or damaged, as with every cruise I take I’d heard so many horror stories about broken toilets and air conditioning. I really didn’t want to be stuck inside a scruffy room feeling unwell for 8 solid days. Would you use this window? Oh and if you have any theories why they didn't remove the ash trays... let me know. ❤😇 Oops, I made a mistake in this video, I said my cabin cost £809pp but that's not right, my cabin was £709pp and my parents balcony was £809pp. BARGAIN! (That's why I took a transatlantic in January but it isn't something I'll be doing again). 🤢⚓ If you've read this far, comment 'PADDLING POOL' in honour of my shower. 😂😂 I knew when booking this cruise that I wanted to keep the price as low as possible but I also didn’t want to risk getting a cabin in a location that would have more movement. When I looking at the deck plans I saw that there were inside cabins that appeared to look out over the atrium. The biggest issues with inside cabins are that there is no natural light at all and that they can feel claustrophobic. I wondered if this window would help with that. I doubted it honestly but as it only cost £25 extra for the entire week I thought it was worth a go. I just hoped that it wouldn’t make me feel more claustrophobic. I figured even if the window was no help, we would be in the middle of the ship and watching people walk around would be fun. In reality the problems that we’ve had weren’t ones that I imagined pre cruise at all, but more about that later. ▶ FREE COURSE.
