I Rode the Brand New Elizabeth Line

Crossrail's new Elizabeth line is almost here and opening soon, and TfL had a press day where they invited people down to see the stations and ride the train between Paddington and Liverpool Street. And it's magnificent! Spacious, clean, fast and looks splendid ... Note - whilst construction officially started in 2009, the first TBM didn't start digging until 2011 which is why I refer to this as the starting date.
