I Restored an Abandoned Cabin in the Mountains and Spent the Night Alone

Deep in the mountains, far from civilization, I found an old abandoned cabin buried in snow, surrounded by towering pine trees and a flowing winter river. The place was breathtaking, but the cabin was in terrible condition—filled with trash and completely neglected. I spent the entire day cleaning and restoring it, turning it into a livable shelter once again. Then, I retrieved my hidden stash from under a tree—an old stove and some canned food I had left here in the fall. After setting up the stove, building a bed and a table, I finally lit the fire and made the cabin feel like home.
