I Replaced My Lawn Guy with A Robot (Yarbo In-Depth Review)
YARBO sale: https://mikeobrienmedia.com/Yarbo (affiliate)
The Yarbo can allegedly work as an automated mower, leaf blower, snow blower, trailer hauler, and watch dog, but how well does it actually work? Do the tank treads ruin your lawn? Does it get lost? How long does the battery last? I tested this for the past 60 days.

ADDITIONAL VIDEO NOTES:
So for the past two months, I’ve been using this yard tank to do basically everything. It mows my grass automatically, it has a leaf blower attachment, it has a snowblower attachment, it has a plow for shallow wet snow, and it even has a hitch to tow a trailer while autonomously following me as I shovel mulch into landscaping. It’s powerful, autonomous, and best of all, Wayyyy quieter than a ztr, lawn tractor, snow blower, or leaf blower
Now this design has been getting a lot of attention for its beastly design and unique offering but in this video I am going to talk about how good or bad it actually is, what it does well and where it suffers, and ultimately weather or not you should buy one.
Leaf blower
How to attach
You can map your spaces and have it autonomously mow, blow leaves, or manage your snow. Alternatively, you can manually control it to slow snow or leaves from an unmapped area
Blower is angle adjustable
You can map edges to which you want all leaves blown
You can attach a manual hose and use this as a leaf blowing unit without having one on your back. I didn’t see the follow me mode, but I think that would be useful so you don’t need a third hand to control
Much quieter than a gas-powered leaf blower with 3 levels of blowing - it worked surprisingly well but with some quirks
For the leaf blower in small areas, it takes a second for the blower to get up to speed so it may miss the first couple feet of the path.
Very impressive battery. It was able to blow half my yard and only used about 15% of the battery, if the measurement is correct
The 3 point turning was not available for the leaf blower when I tested
You can manually change the blower power during a run, but there's no way to program the blower to be stronger or softer in different areas
Automatically charges on wireless base when done. If you want to manually charge it though, there is a port on the back and an included cable
Lawn mower
Again, never gets stuck
Absolute beast, able to cut wet grass, taller grass, or grass in tough terrain
Up to 4”, down to 1.2”
Claimed 6 acre coverage, but that is probably running nonstop
Leaves tracks but that kind of gives you some nice lawn lines if you’re into that
Wide cutting deck means more defined lines but less formed to surface \
Very customizable in the app (demonstrate)
Adjustable margin, spacing, etc
Attempts 3 point turn then gives up
Sometimes does funky turns for no reason because the map is not straight
Aggressively backs into fences if you leave the hitch on
I need to switch out the antenna because I have the winter one on and I think that's why it's not able to get close to the edges when mowing in the summer
Rain sensor on mower appears mildly, corroded or moldy?
You can map different areas and have multiple routines
I haven’t seen a maintenance reminder for the blades yet. Most other robot mowers have that
But the lawn mowing is very powerful, never gets stuck, and leaves my grass looking very nice. Aside from the few quirks, I have to say this was a big success for the Yarbo
Snow blower
There's also a plow for small accumulation of wet snow
Snow clearing stick
Heated cameras so it stays clear
Studded snow trackstm
Emergency stop button
Follow Me (trailer tow)
Follow me mode is awesome, especially for trailers with mulch for example. I wish you could do that during the leafblower attachment usage
I wish there was a gooseneck hitch style for moving things around better. It also claims to tow 3500lb but the friction is going to be the issue there.
I tried towing a jet ski on grass and it failed
