I made this spokeshave

I really like the idea of turning simple steel profiles from the hardware store into beautiful and useful things. It remains to be seen how useful a spokeshave is in everyday life but I do think it looks quite good. It shaves spokes really well, too. You may notice that there are a few little screws in the initial shot of the video that I didn't end up using. That's because I came up with a simpler solution along the way - but don't worry, the screws are fine. It was a fun and challenging project. I hope you enjoy the video!
