The results shocked me! 🔺How I Made This DIY Turning Tool: I combined woodworking, metalworking, wood turning, metal turning, jewelry making, hand engraving, and machinist techniques to build a one-of-a-kind cutting tool holder: ✔️ Shaping the Tool Holder – I started with a 12mm copper rod, filing and shaping it by hand to hold a cutting tool securely. ✔️ Custom Fit for Precision – Marked the exact shape of the cutting tool and carefully carved out space using different tools for a perfect fit. ✔️ Bolt Modification – I shaped a bolt head to fit into the tool holder’s slot, ensuring maximum grip and stability. ✔️ Final Assembly – After securing the cutting tool in place, I now had a DIY turning tool that works on both wood and metal! ✔️ Wooden Handle Creation – I used my homemade turning tool holder to turn a smooth, ergonomic wooden handle for my tool. ✔️ Custom Engraving – To make it even more unique, I hand-engraved my logo on a copper sheet and attached it to the handle’s bottom.
