I made a mistake, sorry, but here is how to fix it.
When building the MI clones Beaks, Gris and Grenar (Peaks, Grids and Branches) I made a poor component choice. This meant that a few functions of these modules have not worked as they were supposed to. Beaks has had a negative offset of about -2V, and the Gris has had trouble getting to the lowest settings of the menu. With Grenar I managed to "fix" the problem by adding a trimpot on the back.
The real culprit is a Zener diode that has the wrong characteristics, and does not work well in these modules.
So in this video you will see me fix these problems, removing the old zener and replacing it with a new one. Also replacing one resistor.
The part numbers of the zeners are:
BZX55C3V6 for the 3.6V zener diode used in the Beaks, and
BZX55C5V1 for the 5.1V zener diode used in the Gris and Grenar. Although I have not tried it on Grenar as it is working with my workaround.
Again these are free in my shop but I cant pay for shipping, but if you intend to buy anything from me, just write me a note of how many of these components to add to the package for free :)
Sorry again...
