Our first adventure was heading to the cable car that takes you up the mountains. After a short but overpriced taxi ride, we reached the station, pre-booked our tickets, and began our ascent. The scenic views from the cable car were unbelievable-Poland's natural beauty in full display! At the top, we were greeted by a snow-covered paradise. I couldn't believe how much snow and ice was everywhere-it felt like stepping into another world! My friend and I decided to hike even higher, pushing through deep snow and slippery ice, and even ran into some fellow Brits on the mountain. We laughed, slipped, and talked about how surreal it would be to get lost in such a beautiful, yet harsh, environment. After our snowy hike and exploring the mountain, we headed back down to Zakopane and treated ourselves to some well-deserved pizza. It was the perfect end to our snowy adventure before making our way back to Kraków. In Kraków, we tried some traditional Polish dumplings, but honestly, we weren't that impressed-sometimes food expectations just don't match reality!
