In this jaw-dropping episode, you’ll join us – a dwarf couple living deep in the mountains – on an unforgettable hunt for a giant crocodile and a prehistoric gar crocodile hiding in the river. What started as a regular fishing trip quickly turned into a suspenseful battle with nature’s most ancient and fearsome predators! The day began like many others: we packed our bags and set out to the river with a plan to search for big fish or wild river creatures. But we never expected to find something so dangerous lurking in the depths. As we approached the stream, we noticed strange ripples on the water’s surface – a sure sign something big was beneath. With sharp eyes and strong instincts, we realized it was a gar crocodile, a rare and ancient-looking predator known for its long snout and prehistoric appearance. Without hesitation, I jumped into the shallow water while my wife stood by with a net. The gar crocodile tried to escape, splashing violently, but with teamwork and determination, we finally caught it using our bare hands and homemade tools. The sense of victory was real – until we heard something massive moving behind us. Suddenly, we saw it – a giant crocodile, at least twice the size of the first one, was swimming toward us with powerful, silent strokes. Panic surged through us. In the rush to escape, I slipped and fell into the water, dropping the gar crocodile. It was a terrifying moment. The water was cold, my heart was racing, and the massive beast was only a few feet away. Thinking quickly, my wife threw her jacket over the crocodile’s head to block its vision, while I dove forward and managed to pin the predator down. It was one of the scariest things we’ve ever done – wrestling a crocodile in the wild with only courage and instinct. But we did it. I lifted the heavy reptile over my shoulders and began the long walk back. As we crossed a narrow path by the riverbank, I slipped again, and both I and the crocodile tumbled into the water. That was the last we saw of it – the crocodile escaped into the depths, gone in seconds. Tired and soaking wet, we had to accept that sometimes, the wild wins. After the intense battle, we decided to shift our focus to something more peaceful – catching snails. We walked along the stream collecting wild freshwater snails, a local delicacy in our area. It’s not as exciting as catching crocodiles, but gathering snails is a quiet, rewarding task we often enjoy as a couple. Our daughters love them too, especially when cooked in our traditional mountain style. Back at home, we washed the snails and prepared a hearty meal. We boiled them with lemongrass, garlic, and forest herbs. The smell was irresistible, and the taste – absolutely delicious. We may have lost the crocodile, but we ended the day with a warm meal and full hearts. 📹 This video captures: A wild crocodile hunt in the mountain river Face-to-face moments with a prehistoric gar crocodile A suspenseful encounter with a giant crocodile Wrestling and catching crocodiles with bare hands A dramatic fall into the water and losing the catch Catching river snails for a traditional meal Cooking mountain-style snail soup at home Our life as a dwarf couple may look small from the outside, but every day brings big challenges, big adventures, and even bigger love.
