At our first stop we tried cigánypecsenye (gypsy steak), and pork paprikas, both are traditional Hungarian foods that you must try when in Budapest. Flavourful, delicious, tasty, meaty and of course hearty, these are the perfect meals to eat during wintertime! Hungary has some of the best foods to eat in Europe. We continued our Hungarian street food tour in Budapest trying some Hungarian desserts. First was the popular Hungarian túró rudi, a must try street food snack! We then headed to a popular confectionery in Budapest to try their traditional Hungarian desserts. In Budapest, there’s no shortage of sweet Hungarian cakes and desserts, perfect for your sweet tooth.
