I wanted a loop station to play around with. Instead of buying one, I decided to use @VercelHQ's v0 to build one as an app from scratch.
Things I go over in the video:
1. How I use quick mockups and design inspirations to shape how v0 crafts a unique and usable UX and UI design.
2. How I structure and plan out what to build with AI. (tip: get the core, small piece working first, then expand into more features and capabilities)
3. How I troubleshoot and debug when the AI builds things that don't work as I wanted them to (it happens, but with a good build plan and debugging strategy, you can get things working!)
4. How I decide when to move to a code editor like Cursor or Windsurf.
If you are curious to build your own apps, definitely check out v0.dev and just try. We are in the age where we can build just about anything we can think. Just go build things.
