We’re tackling something that’s super important but often overlooked: syncing your audio and video perfectly. If you’ve ever watched a video where the person’s mouth is moving, but the audio doesn’t match, you know how frustrating that can be! I’ll walk you through my step-by-step process for syncing audio, whether you’re using a phone, camera, or podcast setup with multiple mics.
We’ll cover how to match up frames, why you should keep your audio just slightly behind the video (because light travels faster than sound!), and how to avoid going more than 10 frames out of sync. I’ll also show you examples at 5 and 10 frames out so you can see the difference for yourself!
