I love using my Glidecam HD 2000 to get some amazing steadicam shots with my DSLR. I always have friends who ask me how to properly balance a Glidecam HD2000 so I decided that I would make a video explaining how I balance my Glidecam with a DSLR on it.
The main thing to remember when keeping it balanced is adding weight in the opposite side. If it leans to the left you need to add weight to the right. Also a lot of times you don't need to add a lot of weight to it to make it balance. Try going a little at a time instead of large changes.
