Every team is different and determining which fields are required is a bit of an art. In this video, I'll walk you through 2 different techniques to make fields required. The first method is at the field configuration level which makes the field required upon issue creation. That is to say that using this first method, a user will not be able to create an issue without filling out all the required fields. The second method uses the workflow to make fields required. It's not as clean, but it allows flexibility. The most important flexibility is that you may not want to make a field required at the beginning.
